The last time Anna Faris hosted SNL was kind of a bummer. The show was just a series of missed opportunities and I couldn’t believe that the writing staff didn’t utilise one of the best and most unique comic actresses of her generation to better effect. She was left to try her best with some very subpar material that didn’t at all showcase her talents. (Some smug people reading this are like, “Sounds like an average episode of SNL to me, haw-haw.”) I sincerely hope that Faris is given material worthy of her talents tonight and, like Melissa McCarthy, gets to show America some of what she’s made of.

If you like very formulaic romantic comedies with likeable leading ladies and douchey leading men, you should see “What’s Your Number?” (I hate Chris Evans in this movie. Also, I hated Joel McHale’s butt in this movie. Meanwhile, I loved Anna Faris’ top lip and her British accent.)
