(There was a lot of terrific television this year, so I’m anticipating an interesting selection of Emmy nominees later. That said, the one category I am most invested in is Best Actress in a Comedy Series, which is filled to the brim with excellent contenders. And I will be personally disappointed if Lena Dunham, Laura Dern or Louis C.K. aren’t recognised. I’d also be into a series nod for Veep, maybe? But whatever. I guess I’m just really looking forward to the inevitable deluge of posts/tweets bemoaning Community’s lack of nominations. Hahaha, just kidding, I will be avoiding the internet like the plague for that express reason.)
