Yeah, I wasn’t aware that Nina Dobrev was so recognisable that she deserved a place in the opening number? I mean, The Vampire Diaries’ target audience were hardly watching the Emmys in their droves last night, right?
The Emmy opening was basically geared at me.
It combined my loves of Jimmy Fallon, Glee, 30 Rock, Tim Gunn and Bruce Springsteen.

AARON FREAKING PAUL BOIII! Seriously, I exclaimed with so much happiness upon reading that he won!
I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little dissapointed Stonestreet won over Burrell. I love Eric Stonestreet, but Ty Burrell had a full season of stellar work, as opposed to the few episodes that Stonestreet had. Oh well, always next year!
